I'm writing an ebook in epub3 format, it's called "Lingering Stab Wounds, And More Tales of Terrible People." It's kinda short, only 20'000 to 30'000 words, but the stories within are derived from real life experiences. There's some intense stuff in there, but hopefully not worse than stuff like what you might have had to read in High School. I can upload the cover here, but the book'll be available to buy on my itch-io page.

I think ever since the tumblr porn-ban I've been checking back here every now and then. I didn't really do much adult stuff here, but as I'm getting older and more artists and creatives are showing up on my feeds doing nude/sexual stuff like it's no big deal, I'm really warming up to the idea. Sexual stuff just seems like an extra dimension of enjoyment, like colour or sound, just that it's for allosexual adults. Also to consider, though, not everyone can enjoy it, and it might even make them uncomfortable. It's definitely not explored very much in most mainstream entertainment, with groups like Exodus Cry holding creative people back and pushing things like the tumblr porn-ban, and trying to normalise slut-shaming.

Plus there's people going "You should just straight up start doing furry art comms if you aren't against NSFW stuff, it's a great way to kickstart your creative career because the clients are always so friendly and considerate and often pay generously, too! And if you aren't really into it you can move off of it later once your skills are built up!" So I kinda started steering one of my anthropomorphic characters in that direction, seeing how that goes.

That's not to say this is turning into a porn-account or something. I just want a little more spice in my work than average. Something to activate your head, and other places on your body, when you're looking for some new original content.

Every time Newgrounds is mentioned I'm just thinkin', like, "This place is still up?" And not only is it still up but it's doing pretty good, too! HTML5, converters for the old Flash stuff, and my social media feed is lightly peppered with newgrounds links every now and then. I'm not going to forget this place in my lifetime, so I might as well get more active around here.
